So long 2011...

Well it's been a pleasure, 2011. You were quite a tough cookie, but I think in the end...it was good.  So CHEERS! For all the ups and downs, for new beginnings and new challenges to conquer!

First Entry!

Hello Hello, what better way to start a blog than a hopeful list of New Year's resolutions.
So here we go...
Twelve by 2012 inspired by
Oh Hello Friends
1. Start a sketch book. All my life I've always been associate with being a little artsy fartsy. Recently, I showed my coworker my painting and she said "I didn't' know you could draw." That broke my heart. I don't know when or why did I stop but I want my mojo back!!!

2. Learn how to make pasta. I had this creative kick about a couple months ago. It lasted about a few weeks and that's exactly how long it took for my pasta maker to come in. Well by the time it arrived, I was kinda over my high. So yes it's been sitting in my closet, collecting dust at the moment. I need to get that sucker out and running.

3. Take more pictures. My mother is always encouraging me to take more pictures. But my laziness tends to get in the way. This year I want to be better at documenting life. You only get to live once.

4. Learn a new sport. Whether it's tennis, golf or maybe rock climbing, I want to see myself progress and get better at it. Also a good way of relieving stress.
5. Workout 3 times a week and eat less processed food. These two are always on my list. FOCUS!! FOCUS!!!

6. Find a church. Seriously... I don't think I'll ever feel like this place is home unless I find a community.

7. Take a girlie trip. Possibly NY, Hawaii, or Montreal in the spring.

8. Learn how to use Adobe Illustrator. So... I will need a tablet, printer...and maybe maybeee a macbook.
9. Clean out my closet. This is part of the whole trying to become more minimalist. But it's been a work in progress for years. So I'm gonna start with step one...clean out my closet.

10. Stick to my budget. Muy importante this year! I'm not a little girl anymore.
11. Cook more/ Eat out less. I want dinner to be like this video everyday. :)

12. Have at least 5 of these crossed off the list.
